Meet to discuss 'Vishwa Tulu Parba-2014' held

Mumbai, Sep 11: A preliminary meet was organised by the Akhila Bharata Tulu Okkuta, Mumbai to discus on the upcoming event 'Vishwa Tulu Parba-2014' recently at Bunts Bhavan.

Akhila Bharata Tulu Okkuta president Dharmpal U Devadiga, convener Nitte Shashidhar Shetty, Tulu Kuta Maharashtra president Jayakrishna A Shetty and others were present on the dias.

Nitte Shashidhar speaking on the occasion said, "Vishwa Tulu Parba-2014 will be held on December 12, 13 and 14 in Sahyadri college, Adyar, Mangalore. The programme will be a reunion kind of programme where all the Tulu family members will be coming from all over the world. Dr Virendra Heggade will be attending the programme."

Dombivili Tulu Kuta president Tonse Vijayakumar Shetty, Surendra Kumar Shetty, N Prithviraj Mundkur, senior writer Dr Sunita M Shetty, Karnur Mohan Rai, L V Amin, Dayasagar Chouta, Ashok Sasihitlu, Chithrapu K M Kotian, P Dhananjay Shetty, Jayakara D Poojari, Shivaram Kotian Kalina and others were also present on the occasion.

Tulu Kuta Maharashtra vice president Vishwanath U Mada welcomed the guests, convener G T Acharya breifed about the upcoming event. Treasurer Mundkur Surendra Salian proposed the vote of thanks.
