Mumbai, Sep 22: The Human Rights wing of Mumbai Pradesh Congress committee (MPCC), North-East Mumbai, committee recently organized a drawing competition for the High School children in Jarimari. More than 700 High School children took part in it.

MPCC North-East Mumbai district president Suresh Kumar Jain, general secretary Walter D'Souza, vice president Leo Fernandes and Nasir Shaikh were present on the dais.

MPCC vice president Dr Harjeet Anand, secretary Shehanaaz Shaikh and Fr Victor Noronha, principal of StJude's High School, Jarimari were the guests of honour.

Secretary Walter D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Fr Victor Noronha gave away the prizes to the winners.

Joseph George won the first prize, Alwyn Joseph the second prize and Ashwini Ivan Thomas won the third. Consolation prizes were also given to encourage the children to compete in future also.

Vice president Leo Fernandes compered the programme. President Dr Suresh K Jain gave Vote of thanks.
