A fight broke out between two groups following an altercation over a petty issue at the Empire pub and bar in a mall located on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon (MG) Road in DLF-2 area.

Vijay Kamal Sahu of sector 9 here and Amit Kumar, who works at Maruti Suzuki India Limited and hails from Jind district in Haryana, were in the bar with four friends for a birthday party.

"They had an altercation with a group of youths from Delhi at about 1 a.m. Friday," a senior police officer said.

The Delhi group whipped out pistols and threatened to kill them.

"Four people from Sahu's group were injured with two of them being admitted to a multi-specialty private hospital in Manesar," the officer said.
