NorthEast United FC's Tzorvas lands in India


Mumbai, Sep 13 (IANS): Indian Super League (ISL) franchise NorthEast United FC Saturday received one of their key international footballers Alexandros Tzorvas, who landed here.

Tzorvas, a Greek, was the first choice goalkeeper of his country in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and during the Euro 2012.

"I am excited to be playing for NorthEast United FC and look forward to a good season on a new turf with my new teammates. I hear that football as a game has a huge fan following especially in the north east and look forward to a new learning under coach Ricki Herbert," said Tzorvas.
