Chicago, Sept 25: The Mangalorean Konkan Christians Association announced celebration of first time ever Konkan Fest – 2006 on October 28, 2006 at 4:00 p.m., at the Courtland Square Recreation Hall, 8909 David Place, Des Plaines, IL 60016.  This program will consist of Singing Competition, Fancy Dress Competition and Food Competition. There will be food stalls with authentic Mangalorean home-made food.

Singing competition and Fancy Dress competition will consist of four age groups – 1-5years; 6-12years; 13-17years and 18 years and above. The Food competition will consist of following categories: Appetizers, Main dish items, and Desserts.
