Agra to host national convention of Blind Stars

Agra, Sep 16 (IANS): A three-day meet of "Blind Stars" will be held in Agra Nov 5-7 to tell the world that they have learnt to live life on their own terms and are capable of competing with anyone.

The founder member of Blind Stars, Mohammad Khalid said that the convention would be attended by 200 blinds from all parts of the country.

"The stars are those blinds who have established themselves in the society, now it's their turn to bring those blinds to the main-stream of society who are behind or still struggling for want of information and resources," he added.
