Another hot day in Delhi, no rain likely Thursday


New Delhi, Sep 17 (IANS): The national capital saw another hot and sunny day Wednesday, as the maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 35.5 degrees Celsius. Thursday is likely to be partly cloudy.

"The sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow (Thursday). There is no forecast of rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Thursday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Wednesday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 25.6 degrees Celsius.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 86 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 34.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded a degree above average at 26 degrees Celsius.
