Xi keen to expand India, China friendship

New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS): Chinese President Xi Jinping Thursday stressed on friendship between India and China.

Xi spoke of mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries and hoped to achieve a lot during his first visit to India.

The visiting Chinese president who was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan said that the goal is also to "deepen our cooperation".

He said that we admire each others civilisation.

Xi is on a three-day visit to India.
