Mumbai, Sep 19: 160th birth anniversary of Brahmashree Sri Narayanaguru was celebrated at Billawa Bhavan in the Head office of Billawara Association recently.

Honorary president of the association, Jaya C Suvarna and his wife Leelavathi Jaya Suvarna accompanied by president Nithyananda D Kotian
and his wife Shashi Nithyananda Kotian together with office bearers lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion.

President Nithyananda D Kotian held Ganahoma Pooja for Ganapathi deity in the morning. Priest Dhananjay Shanthi conducted worship and
other procedures. Honourary president Jaya C Suvarna and president Nithyananda D Kotian honoured Japa Yajnya in-charge Prabhakara Sasihitlu.

Ex-president L V Amin, vice president C T Salian, Bhaskar M Salian, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Jyothi K Suvarna, honourary cheif secretary Dr U Dhananjay Kumar, joint secretary Shanker D Poojary, Mahesh Karkal, Harish G Salian, honourary chief treasurer Bhaskar V Bangera, women's wing rxecutive president Shakuntala K Kotian, office bearers B Ravindra Amin, Sadashiva Karkera and Chartered Accountant Ashwajith Hejmady were present.

Mohandas Poojary, president of Religious and Social Sub Committee welcomed. Honorary secretary Ravindra A Amin proposed the vote of thanks.
