Incheon, Sep 20 (IANS): South Korea dominated the first day of the competition in fencing as they won two gold and two silver medals at the 17th Asian Games here Saturday.
London Olympic gold medallist Kim Jiyeon and her teammate Lee Rajin beat two Chinese opponents in the semi-finals of the women's sabre individual to secure a one-two finish, reports Xinhua.
Park Kyoungdoo and Jung Jinsun also cruised into the final of the men's epee individual with easy victories.
Lee defeated Kim 15-11 in the women's sabre final to win the gold while Olympic bronze medallist Jung edged out Park in the men's epee final.
