Indian women lose 0-10 to Thailand in Asiad football


Incheon, Sep 21 (IANS): The Indian women's football team suffered a 0-10 loss at the Asian Games as they went down to Thailand in their third Group A match at the Namdong Asiad Rugby Field here Sunday.

Nisa Romyen and skipper Kanjana Sung Ngoen fired in four goals each past Indian goalkeeper Aditi Chauhan while substitutes Naphat Seesraum and Pitsamai Sornsai also scored a goal each.

Previously, India beat the Maldieves 15-0 in their group opener before going down to South Korea, also by the 0-10 margin.
