Tata AutoComp, Magna enter into seating JV


Pune, Sep 23 (IANS): Auto component manufacturer Tata AutoComp Systems Tuesday entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement with global automotive supplier Magna International for providing seating systems to Indian commercial vehicle industry.

"This partnership with Magna will expand our portfolio to bring the latest in seating systems to the Indian commercial vehicle industry," said Ajay Tandon, managing director and chief executive Tata AutoComp Systems.

According to the company, the JV will focus on delivering innovative seating systems to commercial vehicle manufacturers as well as buses.

The company added that the JV will be headquartered in Pune.
