Special Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service Sep 26

Srinagar, Sep 24 (IANS): A special cross Line of Control (LoC) bus will carry stranded visitors from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to their homes Friday, an official said here Wednesday.

Regional passport officer Firdous Ahmad told reporters that a special Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service has been scheduled Sep 26 to facilitate stranded people on either side of the LoC.

"Intending travellers should reach tourist reception centre in the morning from where they will be carried to the LoC," said the officer, who is the nodal officer for the cross LoC travel.

The Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service could not operate during the past fortnight because of unprecedented floods in the Kashmir Valley.
