Karkala, Oct 4: A pedestrian was killed after being knocked down by a recklessly driven mobike at Manjarapalke near here on Tuesday October 4 morning.
The deceased has been identified as Kutti Moolya (48), son of Somappa Moolya, a resident of Kukkunje near Shirva-Manchakal near here. On Monday night he was hit by a speeding mobike in front of the Akshya Garage at Manjarapalke.
As a result Kutti Moolya sustained critical injuries on his body. He was immediately admitted to government hospital here. However, he succmebd to injuries later in the hospital. A complaint in this regard has beeen registerd by rural police.
