Helpline for non-functional street lights


New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS): Residents of south Delhi can now register complaints about non-functional street lights to the civic body through a new helpline launched Thursday.

"The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has started a helpline for non-functional street lights," a statement said.

There are four control rooms where people can register their complaints - the SDMC central street light control room (011-23220010), TATA power control room (011-66404040), BSES Rajdhani control room (011-39999707) and BSES Yamuna control room (011-39999808).

There are about 1.65 lakh street lights under the SDMC.
