Two killed, eight injured in Udhampur accident


Jammu, Sep 27 (IANS): Two people were killed Saturday and eight injured in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district.

"Two people were killed and eight injured when a Tata Sumo rolled down at Chilla morh on Patnitop-Sanasar road Saturday morning," a senior police officer told IANS in Jammu.

"Travellers were returning to their homes in Sanasar," he said.

"The vehicle went 300 feet down the slope. The injured were shifted to a hospital where two of them were declared brought dead," the police officer said.
