Chennai, Oct 7: India scored their second win in the three-team round robin group classification match to decide the 9 to 12 placings in the 13th Asian Junior Women's volleyball championship in Thailand.

Playing their second match yesterday, India defeated Singapore 25-13, 25-20, 25-17 and will now play Sri Lanka in the last group match today.

In another tie, Indonesia defeated Sri Lanka 25-10, 25-8, 25-12.

With one more match to go to decide the 9-12 placings and having won both their matches, a win over Sri Lanka would help India finish at the ninth spot.

Indonesia and Sri Lanka have won against Singapore and the outcome of their match would determine the tenth and 11th positions, while Singapore would be placed 12th.
