Modi pays tribute to Bhagat Singh


New Delhi, Sep 28 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday paid tributes to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh - on his 107th birth anniversary.

"I bow to the proud son of India, Shaheed Bhagat Singh," the prime minister said in a statement. "His undying patriotism and courage continue to inspire.

Bhagat Singh was hanged in Lahore along with Rajguru and Sukhdev in March 1931.
