Bantwal, Oct 9: Richard Monteiro from Modankap, Bantwal has been elected secretary of the state unit of All India Catholic Union (AICU).

The electon took place at the annual general meeting of AICU held in Kolkata recently. 

He has earlier served as elected member of Bantwal panchayat.

Currently he is the vice president of Modankap parish council.
