Special bench of Karnataka HC to hear Jaya's bail plea tomorrow

Bangalore, Sep 30 Agencies: A special bench of the Karnataka High Court will take up the bail plea of AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday.

Earlier today, the court had adjourned the hearing to Oct 6, as G Bhavani Singh, who was the Special Public Prosecutor in the Special Court on the disproportionate assets case, told the judge that he had not yet received any official notification appointing him as the SPP for the criminal appeal filed in the High Court.

Jayalalithaa moved the Karnataka HC on Monday seeking bail and suspension of the sentence ordered by the Special CBI court that convicted her for possessing wealth disproportionate to her known sources of income.

Karnataka High Court has been showing a favorable treatment to Jayalalitha by forming a special bench to hear her bail petition. (It makes me to believe that the bail will be granted).

I am sure there are so many bail petitions are pending from poor and powerless people. The court may be violating the Constitutional right of equality of those who are waiting for bail petition.

Follow the rule of first come first serve. No VIP treatment for law breakers.

If murderers and hard-core criminals like Amit Shah, Maya Kodnani, Babu Bajrangi, DG Vanzara and others can be released on bail
Why not Jayalalithaa? At least she does not have blood on her hands.

WILL THE COURT KEEP SAME FAVORS TO ANY OF AAM INSAAN / ORDINARY HUMAN ONCE HE OR SHE IS CONVICTED SAYING HE OR SHE HAS BLOOD PRESSURE AND DIABETICS?!

Supposedly the court knows she has diabetic and blood pressure why then convicted.

Secondly why then the so many convicted diabetics are not given such privilege.

LET US SEE TOMORROW OUR LEGAL JUSTICE SYSTEM.

Even Azmal Kasaf's case took few years to decide in spite of special court etc. Why worry about these politician criminals who have cheated the common man? Why provide special service to hear their bail? Let them rot in the jail for few months and wait till their normal turn comes through?

Mr.Anwar. I fully agree with you.
That's why people are crying, even
people cry during swearing ceremony. Some are true and some are crocodile tears.
BUT. does it mean you loot the government treasury and help the poor. Helping the poor means vote banking. Never forget government treasury mean our (Tax payer) money. Damn it.

Are you comparing Jayalalita to Veerappan.? Very unique compare.
However, technically-yes, both should be equally punished.
Law does not give any provision to prove good doings=bad doings=
no punishment?. It does not work that way.

Cannot understand how these cases get special bench hearing when so many innocent people are languishing in jail waiting for the court to even hear their case. Why don't those cases get priority.
