Dammam, Oct 11: "A S I Friends" (Ashfaq, Siddiq M CHaji and Ibrahim Friends) of Dammam organized a grand Ramadan Iftar party on October 6.

A number of friends, relatives and well-wishers were invited to be part of this colourful occasion and to taste the flavor of the Iftar both from religious and physical point of view. The Taqreer (religious discourse) was rendered by Hyder Ullal, a religious person, now doing his Islamic missionary work in Dammam-Khobar.

Hyder Ullal spoke in plain Beary language, emphasizing the importance and necessity of oneness of God (Tauheed) to be necessarily practised by Muslims. He also stressed the significance of fasting in Ramadan with its multiple rewards and benefits. The Taqreer was followed by a half-hour question-and-answer session on Islamic subject after the Iftar and Maghrib (post-sunset) prayer.

Hameed M H, finance director of ARMS Est. Dammam, advocate P A Hameed Padubidri, Saudi Correspondent for Daijiworld, Arshad M Hussain from Guardian Co, Dammam, Mohammed Liyaqat, marketing executive of CADY, Shamshuddin Haleyangady, Ibrahim Mahmood and Ibrahim Haji of Zamil Group of Cos, Azeez Yermal, Jamal Yermal were the prominent among those present on the occasion.

The organizers have thanked those who took part and made it a big success.
