Two Swiss nationals killed in Philippines


Manila, Oct 6 (IANS): Two Swiss nationals were shot dead in Philippines, police said Monday.

Robert Erich Loever, 67, and Baltazar Johann Erni, 78, were heading home Sunday from a beach resort in Opol town with two of their female friends when they were attacked by two suspected assassins, Xinhua reported.

Police officials said the foreigners died of multiple wounds in their heads.
