Pakistan Rangers open fire again on international border

Jammu, Oct 8 (IANS) Pakistan Rangers started heavy firing on Indian positions and civilian areas near the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir's Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts Tuesday evening, police said.

Pakistan Rangers again fired with automatic weapons and mortars at Border Security Force border posts and civilian areas in R.S. Pura, Arnia, Suchetgarh, Kanachak and Hira Nagar border sectors in the three districts.

"Pakistan Rangers started unprovoked firing at 8 p.m. today (Tuesday). BSF is now retaliating using same calibre weapons," a police officer told IANS.

"People from Londi, Mawa, Sherpur, Rajpur, Chek Dulma, Chilyari, Baingarh, Glad and other areas close to the border have already been moved to safer places," he added.

Six people suffered injuries Tuesday when a mortar shell fired by Pakistani troopers exploded inside the Arnia police station in Jammu while five people were killed in the shelling in the area Monday.

As many as 10 people have been injured in Pakistan shelling since last evening, taking the number of those hurt over the past two days to 30.

The injured have been shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu.

More than 20,000 people living in villages close to the International Border are sheltered at safe places away from their homes.

If he is very strong then how Pakistan get courage to violate cease fire and firing to Indian Military post in border? All BJP ministers are weak & useless.
