A college girl from Beejady near here who had gone missing from her house on Monday October 9 has now come back after getting married to her lover.
Shruthi (18), an undergraduate student of Bhandarkars College here had gone missing from Monday. She had left home for the college but had not gone home back in the evening. Following this her parents had lodged a case in the Kundapur police station in this regard.
But Shruthi presented herself before the police on Friday October 13 along with her husband Vinay Bhandari. She said that she was in love with Vinay for sometime and sensing an opposition from their families for their marriage, they had eloped on Monday. She further said that they had got married to Vinay in a temple at Shringeri.
