Sunny Wednesday in Delhi


New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS): The national capital experienced yet another sunny and warm day as Wednesday's maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 35.2 degrees Celsius.

The Met Office has forecast similar weather Thursday. "The sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow (Thursday) and the afternoon will be warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively, the forecast said.

Wednesday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled four notches above the season's average at 24.9 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 81 percent.

Tuesday's maximum and minimum temperatures have settled three notches above the season's average at 36.6 degrees Celsius and 24.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
