14 injured in Kuala Lumpur grenade blast


Kuala Lumpur, Oct 9 (IANS): At least 14 people, including two Chinese nationals, two Singaporeans and a Thai were injured in a blast in Malaysia Thursday, a media report said.

The blast occurred at Sun Complex in Jalan Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur, thestar.com reported.

All victims have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

It was learnt that the explosion happened beneath a car that was parked in the area. Another unexploded device, also believed to be a grenade, was found underneath another car.
