Guerrilla hideout busted in Kashmir


Jammu, Oct 9 (IANS): The army said Thursday that security forces recovered an automatic rifle and ammunition after busting a guerrilla hideout in Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence ministry spokesman Colonel Manish Mehta told IANS that the Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint operation in Reasi district in this region region overnight.

An AK-56 rifle, 388 rounds, a locally made revolver and two radio sets were recovered, the official said.
