Mumbai, Oct 10: The thirteenth death anniversary of Kateel Gopalakrishna Asranna was held at Bantara Bhavana at Kurla east recently.

In the commemoration ceremony presided by Bantara Sangha Vice president Karnire Vishwanatha Shetty, Kshetra Kateel Chief priest Kateel Laxminarayana Asranna gave a preaching. Ambika Adinatheshwara Mahaganapathi Temple Vidyavihar Chief priest Vedamurthi Pernankila Haridas Bhat, Povai Panchakuteera Mahashesha Rundamalini Kshetra trustee Suvarna Baba, Vidwan S N Uduapa Jerimeri and Santhinja
Janardhan Bhat present in the programme blessed the gathered.

Chief guests Aikala Harish Shetty, Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel, Shama N Shetty, Raghu P Shetty, Babu N Shetty, Attur, Chandrashekar R Belchada, Ratnakara Shetty Mundkooru, Babu S Shetty Perara, Suresh Bhandary Kadandale, Aikala Ganesh Shetty, Aikala Vishwananth Shetty, Dubai businessmen Vasu Shetty Pejavara Padubalikeguthu, Padmaraj B Ekkar, Suresh R Shetty Kinnigoli, Ashok T Salian, Nilesh Shettigar, Shivarama Bhat, Keshava Anchan Povai, Bhaskar Karnire and others were present.

The Chief guests felicitated well-known Yakshagana artistes Delanta Majalu Subrahmanya Bhat, Prashanth Shetty Nelyadi, Mohan Ammunje,
Chandrashekar Dharmastala, Ravichandra Kannadikatte, Deepak Pejavara, Vishwanatha Shetty Biliyooru, Vishwanatha Acharya Thombattu and Sunil Bhandary by presenting cash, memento and certificates.

Laxminarayana Asranna released 'Parivarthana' monthly news magazine edited and published by Janardhana S Puriya. Karnuru Mohan Rai
welcomed and compered the programme organized by Kateel Padmanabha Poojary. Prakash M Shetty proposed Vote of thanks. Perdooru Mela and Thenu Thittu, well known artistes presented Srinivasa – Sridevi Yakshagana programme.
