N T Poojary was speaking after lighting the traditional lamp and inaugurating Preethi Seva Foundation Kambada Kone, Mumbai at Dr M Vishweshwaraya hall on Sunday evening, on Oct 5. Uma Maheshwari temple Jerimeri Chief Priest Srinivas N Udupa gave a sermon on the occasion and wished the committee well.
B Balachandra Rao, Dinesh Ganiga Cherumakki Naikanakatte, advocate Ananda M Poojary, Raju N Poojary, N G Poojary and Kodi Gopal were present as guests of honor. They bestoved 'Samaja Shakthi' title to Udupi district's Rajyotsava awardee, journalist Arun Kumar Shiroor and felicitated well know Yakshagana artiste Kumata Ganapathi Naika. They also distributed scholarships to children and wished them well.
Manjunatha A Billava Shirur in his speech wished the organization well. In the programme led by drama artiste S Poojary, executive president S K Poojary Kharghar welcomed. Nagaraja Appedy, Rama Poojary Naikana Katte, Rajesh Poojary, Krishna Poojary, Santhosh Poojary, Suresh Devadiga and others presented flower bouquets to the guests.
Laxmana Poojary Koderi compered the programme. Secretary Shanker Poojary Brahmanda proposed Vote of thanks. Ankita Naika and Saujanya Billava group presented dances as part of cultural programme. Perdooru Mela presented 'Shankerabharana' social Yakshagana play.
