Minor, two others held with fake notes in Bengal


Kolkata, Oct 11 (IANS): The Border Security Force (BSF) Saturday said it apprehended three people, including a minor, in West Bengal's Malda district and seized fake Indian currency notes with the face value of Rs.2 lakh from them.

In a special joint operation with police, BSF troopers caught the trio which includes a 13 year old boy from Baisabnagar in the district.

"We have apprehended three FICN racketeers including a minor and seized Rs.2 lakh of fake notes.A The trio has been handed over to the local police," BSF Deputy Commandant Ajay Kumar said.
