Mangalore, Oct 18: Although no incidents of violence have been reported in the last couple of days in and around the city, the district administration has extended the ban orders under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code, up to Saturday October 21.
The ban orders will be imposed up to 8 am on Saturday, informed B Dayananda, superintendent of police.
The orders impose that not more than four persons can gather in a public place in Mangalore and Bantwal taluks.
