Mangalore, Oct 18: The CSI Kanti Church celebrated harvest festival on Wednesday with meaningful religious ceremonies.

Over 400 families belonging to the church participated in the church service which was led by Bishop Devraj Bangera and assisted by church pastor Vinayalal Bangera.

The new corn which was brought in a procession was blessed and distrbuted to the people. With melodious choirs of men, women and children, the members of the church devoutly participated in the service.

Kanti Church which has an active Young Men’s Prayer Union, Young Women’s Prayer Union and Women’s Fellowship has recently formed a Senior Citizens Fellowship.

The offerings brought to the church by the faithful were later auctioned and the proceedings offered to the church.

The church was decorated with various types of vegetables.
