Immigration inspector Manjunath Shetty, speaking to daijiworld, that on careful examination of the passport, it was revealed that the photograph of the fraudulent holder had been cleverly inserted into the passport. Upon interrogation, it was revealed that in reality he was Mohammad Abdul, a resident of Jumma Masidi Road, Kumbla, Kasargod.  It is possible that he had illegally got possession of this passport, issued at Hyderabad, in Dubai or elsewhere and had his own photo inserted behind the laminated sheet of the passport.

During further interrogation by inspector Shetty, he disclosed that he was a worker in a hotel in Dubai.  He was later detained at the airport.  Since he had come from Dubai, he was deported back to Dubai by the direct flight on Thursday October 19 evening.  However, it is not yet known as what action the Dubai airport officials have taken in this regard.

This is the first such case reported at the Bajpe airport ever since the airport began handling international flights..  By detecting such a case, the immigration officials of the airport have proved that they are not far behind in being alert and that they are capable of handling any future challenges.

It is also an answer to all those who are still skeptical about the security measure of the airport and the facilities available there.  Persons those who have done little or nothing are in the forefront to criticize the airport authorities.

But they have been proved wrong by the latter with their agile working and apt security measures.  This shows that the airport is able to handle such cases and it is also a warning to all who think that they can breach security measures easily at the Bajpe airport.
