Margao, Oct 21: Flavaiano Miranda, a 25-year-old Karate student, could be deemed God's gift for many people, as he has saved many from getting drowned.

Fatorda people on Friday could witness his live action of saving a 24-year-old girl, who had fallent into a drinking water well.

According to the Margao police, the girl accidentally fell in the well after she lost balance while sitting on the fence.

People raised an alarm after the fall, but no one would dare jump in the well to rescue her. But it was to her good fortune that Miranda was passing by Fatorda, when he heard the screams of the people and girl. He dashed towards the well, jumped in and rescued the girl.

She was immediately rushed to the Hospital for treatment.
