Ghaziabad, Oct 17 (IANS): The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), in a bid to boost its property sale and to strengthen the city's infrastructure, passed 26 proposals in its board meeting Friday.
Addressing media persons, GDA vice-chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav said attempts were being made to woo quality organisations to come and invest in boosting the city's image.
The board cleared a proposal to sell a group housing plot, measuring 16,200 sq metres, to the National Building Construction Corporation in Koyal Enclave.
The board also gave its nod for sale of a plot, measuring 21,800 sq metres, to the Delhi Metro Welfare Organisation in the same newly-developed township. A plot was also okayed to DMRC officers and staff in the same location.
The board has reduced the security deposit of Rs.5 lakh to Rs.1 lakh for plots of 2,000 sq metres and above. Further, levy corner and infrastructure charges being charged at 10 percent have been exempted.
