Beltangady, Oct 22: Thieves broke into an electrical shop in Beltangady stealing goods worth Rs 20,000.

The incident was reported on Oct 19. According to police sources the thieves gained entry into Jagadamba Electricals in H L Hegde Complex in Beltangady taluk by breaking open the shutter lock.

Four roles of electric cable and a telephone con box has been reported stolen.

A case has been registered in Beltangady Police station.
