CBI registers second case against Jindal Steel

New Delhi:Oct 20 (DHNS): The CBI on Sunday registered a second case against Jindal Steel and Power Ltd for irregularities in procuring coal blocks, taking the number of FIRs in the coal scam to 36.

As a result of the preliminary inquiry initiated in September last year to look into allocations between 1993 and 2005, a fresh case was filed pertaining to the Gare Palma IV/1 coal block given to the company for a sponge iron plant.

The CBI alleged that Jindal Steel and Power Ltd entered an irregular mining lease and crossed the coordinates stipulated by the Coal Ministry. “The company resorted to excess mining, irregular regularisation of area beyond coordinates, sale of raw coal, sale of coal fines and middling to other than specified end users, irregular permission for consumption of coal in expansion of kilns and other related allegations,” a CBI statement said.

After registering the case, searches were conducted at four locations in Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, leading to the recovery of several incriminating documents.

The case was registered under Indian Penal Code Sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and 420 (cheating) and relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The CBI had earlier registered a case against Jindal Steel and Power Ltd for alleged cheating and misrepresentation of facts in acquiring the Amarkonda Murgadangal block in the Birbhum region of Jharkhand in 2008.

Jindal is the dirty gobbler under Congress behind closing Kudremukh Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., for his own benefits. His father deservingly died prematurely in an air accident and this S@$ deserves a worse one. These $@&€# need to be put in place. I am sure Modi govt does it.

There are always bad days after good days for many and many others good days after many a bad days. Very few have good days always and many many people have bad days throughout.
    In politics too same way.
When enjoying good days, tend to become lethargic which leads to beginning of bad days.
Congress must experience those bad days where they can not even sit i the opposition. That much they had enjoyed the power and became lethargic\nonchalant and did not even bother to canvas\request for votes when their opponents started same a year in advance with full throttle. Even then Congress did not wake up and are left at todays state where hey can take a much longer holiday and continue with their relaxed attitude. I do not see any activity in Congress which shows eagerness\urgency etc. and seems to me they are tired of Politics.
It should have been a jolt\ like a lightning strike to wake them up but.....
Anyway - all Political parties are same and in a few years from now the jubilant party BJP will become same too.
I only hope there will be development which benefits the AAM ADMI. If not we are in for worse days ahead.
