10 killed, 23 injured in Pakistan road accident


Islamabad, Oct 20 (IANS): At least 10 people were killed and 23 injured when a passenger bus hit a truck in Pakistan Monday morning, media reported.

The bus was carrying over 35 people and was on its way to Karachi from Quetta when it collided with the truck at Uthal in Hub area of Balochistan province, Dawn online reported.

Police said that negligence on the part of the bus driver was the main cause of the accident.

The injured people said that the speed of the bus was also far above the legal limit and visibility in the area was low due to early winter fog.
