Oct 23: The Holy Eid-Ul-Fitr carnival was celebrated here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today sanctimoniously and cheerfully followed with the festival special prayer in the morning. All nationalities were gathered in several Idghas (Place meant for offering Eid prayers only) and Mosques in all provinces of the Kingdom to offer the special Eid prayers and to greet each other to bolster the unity and love among the communities. The panorama of the Muslim brothers offering special prayers and greetings in Dammam Idhga of Moajil area and the King Fahad Mosque (also known as “Masjidul Haramain”) in the heart of Dammam was really an eye-catching one. The Mosque was overcrowded and the surrounding roads were decorated with the devotees for few moments. The Idgah was also jingling with the highest gathering with the special color of the presence of the HRH.Prince Muhammad Bin Fahad, the Governor of the Eastern Province and other dignitaries and officials.

The Imam of Idhgah stressed in his sermon (Khuthba) that “the unity amongst the community and understanding towards the other communities who are living side by side is one of the significant steps to solve the problems the Muslim community faces in the today’s world”; He called upon all the nationalities to be more pious and sincere and the spirit of the Holy Ramadan to be adopted in one’s whole life without any let up…” He also prayed for the world community to be in peace and mutual understanding…”.

The Imam of the Mosque also emphasized the importance of the fasting and its ending celebration (i.e. Eid-Ul-Fithr) that would prop up the real adore and unity among the community with the importance of the international understanding. Khuthba (Religious Sermon) was followed soon after the special prayer. About ten thousand people and five thousand people of different nationalities were gathered in the Idhga and the Mosques respectively.

Hameed M.H., who is the senior resident in the Kingdom (Dammam) and Finance Director of ARMS Est.Dammam and Ahmed Meera Hussain, the Operations Manager of HIT Est. and President of PANORAMA, Padubidri-Dammam Unit conveyed their Eid message stating that this auspicious occasion be a day of mutual understanding, peace and unity for ever. Hameed M.H. stated that the Islamic spirit should be both in thought and action and everyone should try to the maximum level to be more approachable towards the real fortitude of Islam and teachings of the Prophet (Pbuh). A.S.I. Friends (Ashfaq Mangalore, Siddik M.C. Haji & Ibrahim Kalkar) have also wished all Muslims a happy and prosperous Eid-Ul-Fithr on the occasion.
