Mangalore, Oct 25: Chetana Literary Group will hold 30th anniversary celebrations at Woodlands Hotel in the City on October 30.

The Group was formed in 1976 for promoting the persons engaged in creative literary endeavour. Currently headed by Dr V S Skandaprasad as its president, the Group also brings out a literary magazine ‘Samvedana,’

On Oct 30, the anniversary celebration will be participated by Professor Emeritus Dr U P Upadhyaya of Udupi based RGP Research Institute who will also release the souvenir.

The 35th issue of ‘Samvedana,’ will also be released on the occasion.

Tasneem Shahnaaz from New Delhi, Shankar Mishra from Thane, Srinivasa Rangaswamy from Chennai, French poet Georges Friedenkraft, Dr Adolf Shvedchikov from USA, Eileen Sriwardana from SriLanka and Goroihara from Japan will participate in the poets’ meet which has also been organized as part of the celebrations.
