Finding MH370 remains priority: Malaysian minister

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 22 (IANS): The Malaysian government is committed to finding the remains of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which vanished March 8 without any trace, media reported Wednesday.

"Victims of the Malaysia Airlines MH370 tragedy will never be forgotten," the Malaysian Star quoted Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein as saying.

"All that could be done to find the aircraft has been done thus far. Finding MH370 remains our top priority," Hussein said.

Flight MH370, with 227 passengers and 12 crew members, disappeared from the radar screens about an hour after taking off from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing March 8.

The Boeing 777 aircraft is yet to be found even after an exhaustive search in the southern Indian Ocean where it is believed to have gone down after veering off course.
