Mangalore, Oct 25: The Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy organized "Tulu Mahaniyarottugu Samvada" programme at its premises here on Wednesday October 25 evening.  A new generator which has been donated by State Bank of Mysore to Tulu academy was handed over to the academy on the same occasion.

Bevinje Vishnu Kakkilaya and S Ramachandra Shetty, the two distinguished persons who have contributed immensely to Tulu language and literature were honoured on the occasion by G B Gangappa, AGM of State Bank of Mysore and B M Idinabba, former president of Kannada Development Authority.

A generator donated by SBM to the academy was handed over to academy president Sitaram Kulal by G B Gangappa.  Sitaram Kulal presided over the function.

Academy member Gananath Yekkar welcomed the gathering while Registrar S H Shivarudrappa proposed the vote of thanks.  Dr Ganesh Amin Sankamar compered the programme.
