New Delhi, Oct 23 (IANS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi Thursday greeted countrymen on the occasion of Diwali.

"Wishing everyone a very happy Diwali. As we celebrate this auspicious day with joy in our hearts, let us pray for peace, prosperity and happiness for all," Gandhi said in a statement issued by his office.
