Mumbai, Oct 27: The first anniversary of Saptaswara cultural troupe was celebrated on the occasion of Deepavali, at Andheri's Kamgar Kalyana Kendra here recently.
Newly-elected president of the National Congress Party's youth wing Kalatturu Vishwanath Shetty, presided over the function. S N Udupa of Umamaheshwari Temple, was the chief guest, while well-known social worker Leeladhar Karkera Kaup, was the guest of honour. Srikanth Suvarna, convener, was felicitated on the occasion.
'Badi Bangar' a Tulu drama was staged by the members of the cultural troupe as part of the celebrations.
Office bearers Prasanna Kuntadi, Anil Poojary and Madhava Salian were present on the dais. Bhaskar Suvarna Sakinaka welcomed the gathering while secretary Sandesh Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
