JNU students talk money matters with vice president


New Delhi, Oct 27 (IANS): A Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students' delegation Monday met Vice President M. Hamid Ansari and highlighted the issue of financial resources crunch in pursuing research studies.

The delegation from the School of International Studies (SIS) interacted with Ansari and brought to his notice "the problems in procuring relevant research study materials besides financial crunch in pursuing research studies".

SIS International Studies dean Anuradha Chinoy led the delegation.

A statement from the vice president's office said: "The students interacted with the vice president on educational, socio, economic matters besides the issues concerning higher studies and research in institutions of higher learning."

Ansari assured the delegation of his full cooperation in finding a solution to their problems concerning research studies.
