Mangalore, Oct 28: Tulu Parishat, promoted by All India Tulu Federation will be inaugurated at the Sai Kripa Auditorium at Adyar near here on Sunday October 29.
Senior writer and activist Erya Lakshmi Narayana Alva will inaugurate Tulu Parishat while Chitrakala Parishat president D K Chouta would preside over the inaugural function. Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy president M K Sitaram Kulal will distribute prizes on the occasion.
All India Tulu Federation president Adyar Mahabal Shettty, businessman M Raghunath Shet, Nagarika Seva Trust president Vidya Nayak too will be present on the occasion.
The formal stage function will begin at 2 pm in the afternoon which will be presided over by B Nagaraj Shetty, MLA J Krishna Palemar, A C Bhandari, managing trustee of Nandavar Temple and Tulu academy member Dr Ganesh Amin Sankamar will be present.
