Rio de Janeiro, Oct 28 (IANS) AC Milan is set to make a move for Brazil under-20 defender Marlon in the January transfer window, according to media reports.
The 19-year-old has impressed in 16 first-team appearances for Fluminense in Brazil's Serie A this season, reports Xinhua.
Rossoneri manager Filippo Inzaghi sees Marlon as a prized asset due to his ability to play at fullback, center-back or as a defensive midfielder, Sambafoot reported.
Originally from Duque de Caxias in Rio de Janeiro state, Marlon is contracted to Fluminense until September 2017.
Former Chelsea and Selecao center-back Alex is currently the only Brazilian in AC Milan's squad.
