Dubai, Oct 29: Parishioners of Ashoknagar, Mangalore diocese living in the UAE have an ideal occasion to mingle with each other, recall the memories of back home and spend a day with their families.

On November 24, 2006 some of the members have convened a re-union of parishioners in Dubai at Safa Part. A day out will be fun-filled with games and entertainment events.

Last year, when St Dominic parishioners organized a programme for the first time, it received a good response.

Similar efforts are now being made to bring more parishioners together and introduce each other.

"There is no plan to form a permanent group or association. It will be a just casual meet to allow everyone to spend a day and relax..," said a member of the organizing committee to daijiworld.
