Mangalore, Oct 29: In a raid conducted by Panambur Police in Baikampady, 25 persons were arrested on charges of gambling.
On Oct 27, a police team led by Pramod Kumar PSI Panambur raided a room near BPCL Baikampady here at 7.45 pm.
At the time of raid the police found 25 persons gambling.
Police seized cash Rs 10,555 and playing cards from the spot and have arrested Rama, Purushotam, Ramdas Prabhu, Raveendra, Gopal, Das, N, Mohan Kumar, Abubakkar, Wilfred D’Souza, Moideen, Narayana, Babu, Shareef, Narayana Rai, Raja, Madava, Ramesh, Annayya, Vittal, Santhosh Kumar, Bhaskar, Shantha Kumar, Ravi Shetty, Praveen Poojary and Ramakrishna Shetty.
