Mangalore, Oct 29: Forest officials on Saturday Oct 28 arrested one person on charges of illegal transportation of logs.

The officials intercepted a 407 vehicle in Vas Lane here at 6 pm and found 14 wooden logs being transported without proper licence.

Moiden the vehicle driver has been arrested by forest officer B K Chandrashekar.

The goods seized are estimated at Rs 1.20 lac.
